Pastor –> Paramedic
The adventure has begun. Last week I sent out a letter to the church where I have been a pastor for the last nine years. In the letter I shared that my time as youth pastor will be ending on July 31. My family will be moving to Sioux Falls, SD and I will be starting paramedic school in the fall at Avera School of EMS.
It is truly going to be a bitter sweet time in my life as my entire married and parenting life has been in Washington. I am going to miss many people that have become very good friends, but am also excited to see where God is leading me in this new chapter of my journey.
I’m terribly sad that you’ll be leaving the 253, but I’m so excited for you as well. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for you, John. If you need anything, my family is here to assist.
