Week in Review

Better late than never.  My Week in Reviews do not have a set time, but I think I am going to start writing them on Monday night since my work week starts on Tuesdays.  This one will not include the things I have done so far this week, will include Monday the 18th through this last Monday.

highlights:  Mariners game.  Two good bike rides.  Puyallup youth pastor’s meeting.  Brittain and Paris sleepover.  Retirement planning meeting.  BBQ with Tangedahls.  BBQ with Kirouacs, Adams, Junkerts.  Geocaching and BBQ with Gerlitz’.

lowlights:  someone made an offer on our house and then walked away after our counter offer.

on my to-do list:  lead worship

procrastinating about:  I have been working through my to-dos.

books I’m reading:  finishing up Tribes and then starting Mad Church Disease.  Check out Andy Darnell’s blog post for my participation in the blogging project.

music I’m listening to:  Online music week.  A member of this band attends the same church I do.  Average Djoes.  You can also listen to music online free or trade cds at Lala.com.  I recently listened to Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton’s new album.

anecdote of the week:  I am planning on riding the STP with my sister and dad in July.  I have begun training more seriously recently and have enjoyed riding my bike more.  I got a good laugh on my rides this weekend.  During one ride a care of teenagers drove by and barked at me.  On another ride, as I was entering a small town near ours, someone yelled out his car window, “Sidewalk, [insert expletive].  Isn’t it called a sidewalk and not a sideride?
