Week in Review

highlights:  South Graham meeting.  Guitar club.  Multi-site phone call.  Weekend with Ben and Leah.  Movie party with the pastors.  Replacing the fuel filter in the car and that seeming to be the problem.

lowlights:  Our car breaking down.  People aren’t perfect which makes relationships difficult sometimes.

on my to-do list:  sushi with Mal.  Youth Staff meeting.  NABNW Association meetings in Seaside.

procrastinating about:  I am consistently working on personal as well as work to-dos.

music I’m listening to:  I you haven’t ever checked out Pandora, please do.  We listen to it all the time at home.  It is a smorgasbord of music.  One of the great features is custom playlists in which you can have a wide variety of artists.

anecdote of the week:  On Sunday we had a staff party over at the the Bauslaughs’.  Nichole made soup in the crock pot.  On the way over, I made the decision to stop abruptly for a yellow light.  Soup poured out all over the floor.  After dropping Lily off, we began to drive, came to a hill and the car promptly would not go.  We made our way slowly up the hill and pulled off to the side of the road.  The other pastors came and got Nichole and I was able to take the car over to the Stumpges’.  Ralph and Lila came and picked me up and took me to the party.

The next morning the car ran fine.  I took it to Shucks and had them check the computer.  Nothing showed up, so he suggested I replace the fuel filter.  I replaced it in the afternoon and the car seems to be running fine.
